LiFePO4 batteries’ solid construction resists vibration damage, with many models rated to withstand 50G of shock—far exceeding the 10–20G tolerance of lead-acid batteries. They also have a longer lifespan, lasting 3–5 times longer than lead-acid batteries (up to 5,000 cycles vs. 300–500), making them cost-effective over time despite higher initial costs.
